We are the University of York's Formula Student team, led by our Team Principal (Tom Comrie) and Deputy-Principal (Lotte Cook). We have been competing in the FSUK competition since 2023. Our mission this year; to design, build, and race a high-performance electric race car in FSUK 2025.

Our team members come from a wide range of disciplines, bringing diverse perspectives and expertise to every aspect of our work. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and inclusive team, where students from all degrees and backgrounds collaborate to innovate and drive success.
Driving Team
The Drivers Team, led by Adam Shamsul, includes skilled physical drivers and two racing sim teams. They work together to optimize performance and score points for York Formula Student across driving-related challenges.
Engineering Team
The Engineering Team, lead by Andrew Steedman, designs and develops the car. They work collaboratively across disciplines like electronics and chassis to bring innovative solutions from concept to creation.
The Business Team, led by Alfie Joseph, includes members working hard to make the team's running possible. They communicate with our sponsors, plans weekly socials, controls the social media and this website!
